I just confirmed that I will be presenting my hypnosis at Northwestern University's Dance Marathon's. This year, Dance Marathon is working to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as their primary charity and over 92% of the donations will go to that charity. Another 7.5% of all funds raised will go to the Evanston Community Foundation. Tickets are available at the Northwestern Dance Marathon web page at www.nwu.edu - just follow the links or search feature to Dance Marathon!

Dance Marathon is the longest running collegiate charity dance event in the USA and I am proud to say that this will be my 14th year performing for the event. My hypnosis show will be at 7PM, March 5th in the Purdue Room in the Norris Student Center at Northwestern's Evanston, IL campus. Tickets will be $3 and the event is open to the public. Dance marathon is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization as recognized by the US goernment. All donations and ticket purchases are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

That's right! I'll be teaching TWO courses at this year's National Guild of Hypnotists Convention, near Boston! I am honored to be doing a repeat of the Dual Inductions workshop that I did with my esteemed colleague Marcia Proctor, C.H. and will also be doing a NEW workshop on Safety For Stage Hypnotists!

The Dual Inductions workshop will feature an overview of how to use two voices (whether two hypnotists or a live hypnotist and a recording or binaural recordings), a demonstration and questions and answer time. Marcia Proctor is one of the finest hypnotherapists I have ever worked with and I am really looking forward to co-teaching with her again!

Stage Hypnosis Safety will cover the areas where new, and even experienced, stage hypnotists can run into trouble - managing volunteers, suggestion management, abreactions, misinterpretations of suggestions, and lots more! With luck, we will be able to use some computer generated slides to enhance the program and will even be doing a bit of Socratic Method in the presentation to help get the attendees thinking about where they might be able to insure their safety and the safety of their volunteers while on stage!

Hope to see you there!
